Update! And other amazing things.

About two weeks ago I did a journal about something that happened at work.
The boy that had come in with his parents and left behind a note.
I told myself that if he ever came in again while I was there I'd talk to him.
Well..
It's happened twice now!
Both times have been really good.

First time I actually wasn't working that day.
My husband and I were there just to get something to eat.
We were enjoying our meal when the boy and his parents came in.
Told my husband who that was, excused myself and went to talk to him.
Of course the boy was kinda freaked when I asked if I could talk to him.
Lol.
He remembered me as his waiter and I showed him the note he left behind.
He got kinda scared when he saw that I had it, though it wasn't creeper/stalker, "oh my god, this guy is weird scared."
It was: "Is he going to hurt me?"
My heart broke a bit.
Anyways, we talked for a bit.
Told him that there is a lot of LGBT support and people that care about him and wish him the best and wish he didn't have to hide and so on.
Told him that I'm bi and am having an amazing life with my husband and kids, even though there are people out there who hate me for who I am.
He was so happy he started tearing up!
We talked for a bit more and he told me that he and his "girlfriend" have a plan.
Turns out she's a lesbian who needs a cover so her parents don't find out.
After High School, they are going to come out to their parents, leave and get a place together.
Talked for a bit more and gave him my number in case he ever needs someone to talk to and then we parted.

Next time was yesterday.
I was working when he came in, taking a tables order.
When he ran over to me and hugged me.
Told me that our conversation helped him out a lot.
It really meant something to him and he and his "girlfriend" both now believe they can have a life where they are happy and not hiding who they are.
He's also going to try and talk to the boy he loves again and confess his feeling since he never got to.
It was my turn to tear up.

I kinda felt bad for the people at the table I was waiting on.
They were so confused!
Lol!


Also, the girl that is living with us till she gets her own place.
She is amazing!
She's not allowed to move out.
Even if we do end up moving ourselves, she's coming with us.
We're going to take her to the Pride Parade that's this weekend along with our kids.
It's the one my husband purposed to me at.
